Who was the God of Israel?

YHWH's desire is to tabernacle or dwell, or live with us. He wants to be among us and in us.

Will he be with us in the wilderness of our lives? Will he be with us where there are no comforts? Who was with the Israelites in the wilderness? When Moses saw the fire of the burning bush, he saw an angel, and the angel spoke and revealed that he was the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, YHWH and he had come down to deliver his oppressed people. When led into a trap, with the Egyptians behind and the Red Sea in front, the angel in the pillar of cloud/fire came between the Israelites and the Egyptians, giving light to his people and darkness to their enemies, and they were saved when their saviour blew his wind with his nostrils and parted the sea! He led them through the wilderness, gave them water to drink and manna and meat to eat. He wanted to be close to them, right in the middle of them and said, let them make me a sanctuary, that I may dwell/tabernacle among them.
